What to Expect

An appointment with me is so much more than just checking the tightness of your car seat installation.  This is your own private class, tailored with information specific to your car seat and your vehicle.  We will cover all of the features of your car seat, how and when to make any adjustments, how to choose where your car seat should go, how to install your seat using multiple methods, plus much more!  You will be able to practice harnessing your newborn using a weighted, life-sized doll.  Anyone who might be transporting your child is welcome to join in, whether it's grandparents, a nanny, au pair, etc.  

Consultations will take place at the location of your choice.  It can be your home, office, or any public place within my service areas.  Covered areas preferred during winter months due to frequent inclement weather here in the PNW.  

New Parent Private Classes generally last 60-90 minutes, while Car Seat Troubleshooting sessions are usually shorter.  The length of each appointment varies by the number of caregivers, the number of car seats, and the number of installations taking place.
